Another R stolen
Well, add me to the list of people who thought it would never happen to them. It was taken in Hofman Estates last night.
EDIT: Recovered in Milwaukee.

Where in Hoffman Estates? I can try and look into local chops that we know to have suspisious activity; unfortunately, stats that we come across suggest that cars that are stolen in the suburbs, tend to be stolen by individuals or groups of friends not associated with chops.
It's probably sitting on the side of the street waiting for LoJack/GPS recovery or in someone's garage getting parted.

It was stolen from 2120 Hassel Road(near 72 and Barrington rd) in Hoffman Estates.
My car had no front plate and the "A" was taken awhile ago. The back end is covered in soot also. They smashed the passenger side window because all that remained was some glass from that side. Also, it didn't have the front lip.
It had Zeal B6 suspension with Rota slipstreams & brand new Falken RT615 tires. The rest is stock. Please PM if you have any details.

So sorry to hear scott!! 
I saw CW with black wheels at 83 and lake cook on my way to work at 9:45 this morning. Couldn't tell if it was lowered and didn't catch the plates. But it did have a front plate and I think a '97 front clip.

nah it's more not just 1 out of 10 a year more like 2-3 a week. i want to buy another ITR to replace my stolen one, but with all these it really makes me stop thinking !

It makes me rethink if I should consider buying a 98 ITR... I mean, you live farther out from the city than me. My chances of gettin' my future ITR stolen are probably 100 times greater. Sorry for your loss man. Maybe you have lojack or some gps tracking device as one of your security measures?
