Default Some kind of TV screen/display fitted in my dash, what is this???

in my JDM prelude vtec si, towards the passenger side in the dash, is a small display/screen. Near the footwell it has wires for it....2 tv ariel looking wires (not sure what they are) and a small control box with 2 rotating dials, printed lables in japanese, so I have no idea. The screen is very tidily fitted in the dash, I dont know if this is standard or just mine. anyone know what it is? if need be I can post pic up later on.

PLEASE post pictures of the reverse side of the clear/tinted piece that runs across the dash (over the top of fuel/temp gauges and your tv screen).

This may benefit a lot of people.

Screw that! A cam mounted by the fogs in front.

Just like Knight Rider.

Even if it is a Nav system, it's probably still a standard lcd screen, so you should be able to feed it from the source of your choosing. You'd have to find out what 2 wires are the input to the screen and solder them into a female rca jack, then you can feed it from a DVD or PS2, ect..

yes it was originally set up as a Nav display. But it is an LCD screen none the less so you can hook up a dvd or whatever video device. It's pimp...but if you don't want it let me know
