Default OT: Someone Please Save This R (Ebay)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

I was parusing ebay and found this. I don't want to start a flamming discussion, but someone that has the extra money that is looking for an R please save this car from oblivion. Its clean as **** just needs some de-ricing with new bumpers and what not. Depending on where the auction goes I was thinking about possibly throwing a bid.

" a small dent on the bottom of the grill where a goose was hit in the driveway"

A moment of silence please for the goose brave enough to try to single-handedly get this monster off our streets.

Wouldn't you have to be moving pretty quickly (in a driveway), to hit a goose hard enough to dent the grill?

13k for THAT? I would give him 9k, if I was in a good mood... and after taking my medication.

I would love to see someone buy that R and take it back to OEM, but that person is not going to be me.

Yeah, it's a little bit different type of project car than normal (shell), instead of building it back up you have to strip it down

If that price stays in that range it's not to bad of a price at this point. Low mileage with a very clean interior and the body seems straight. But I agree after putting some quality dollars into it you could be a few thousand more deep. Oh well

And, IMO, the owner that did that to her is almost as guilty as a thief.

Well, since it's obviously owned by hell's own riceroni you can probably bet that the engine has been ragged to death for all of the 20k miles that it's lived. If it's a one owner car, then it's doubtful it saw a proper break-in. I wouldn't give more than 10k for it.
