What is everyone predicting at this race, it is for PRO RWD only.

The people that can take the Wally are:

 

Scranton seems to be running pretty consistent and fast

I dunno............................. anything can happen in that class for God's sake.

It was close last year and its going to be close this year for the championship.

 

Vince, that car is mean when it hooks and these cars haven't seen track prep like the Nationals before. With the cooler temps coming and track prep better than any sport compact event expect some good times

 

My prediction is that we'll look at the series two years from now and say, "hey, that looks just like Indy!"

i think hartford will win. probably a hartford vs. scranton final.

Unless the car is driven by someone that has already ran this year they won't be able to run. This race is only for everyone that has a least qualified for every race this year.

No they are talking about putting it on inside drag racing episode but nothing has been released yet.

I don't know a damn thing.

I just suspect that no matter what happens to the rest of the NHRA sport compact series, Pro RWD will survive, either as part of POWERade, or alongside Pro Mod.

 

NHRA SPORT COMPACT Racing is here to stay no matter what.

The Pro RWD coverage on ESPN2 will be broadcast on Inside Drag Racing on October 2, 2005 at 12:00 Noon. The
program will receive a repeat cablecast on October 7, 2005 @ 03:00P.

Sheesh! I'm usually the one trying to reassure people about the series...

All I'm saying is that Pro RWD is the "marquee" class in NHRASC. I think it could be viable all by itself if it came down to that. It would be a good addition to the POWERade series, filling the same sort of role that Pro Stock Truck was originally supposed to take. But IMHO, the best possible place for PRWD is right where it is now, anchoring the sport compact series.

 

What day are they running the Pro RWD cars?
