freshen up the motor, if it hasn't been rebuild already - and replace timing belt, water pump, oil pump, tensioner, etc...
If you're on top of your maintenance schedule, then how about neptune or crome + some cams, valvesprings, retainers?
final drive, clutch, flywheel?
I can keep going - I have lots of nice ideas.....

Re: Suggestions please (Bbasso)
With that many miles, I'm sure there's some routine maintenance that could be done. Timing belt, water pump, tensioner? Valve adjustment? New tranny bearings?

in addition to what everyone else said....
pulleys: crank pulleys + acces pulleys (not a huge gain, but something)
igntion: 8.5 MM wires, msd cap/coil
rotors: x-drilled
there is about 850, enjoy, should have enough for that big mac meal too....

Those have to be the worst things to recommend...
Crank pulley on a motor with that many miles could only spell trouble.
MSD wires and such only give headaches from falling off and mis-fires.
and Xdrilled rotors, for what, make the braking zone longer?

Crank pulley on a motor with that many miles could only spell trouble...never heard of that before
MSD wires and such only give headaches from falling off and mis-fires...been using sets of msd wires for 50 k....never a problem
x driller rotots - braking zone longer ..... come again?
But I do respect your opinion Rob, you've givin me good advise in the past. I can only speak from experience and all those items improved performance for my car. The cap/coil/wires improved throttle response, the unorthodox pulleys netted me 3-4 whp and the brembo's I find cooled better when I was circuit racing.

Crank pulley - there was many concerns about them slowly killing a motor due to unbalancing- read- https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=585226 &
Your search for crank pulley returned 38 results.
MSD- just search for how much neg feedback they had. You are one of the luck ones that did not have any problems.
Xdrilled rotors have less surface area for the pads to grab, don't do much for cooling and are more prone to cracking under heat conditions. Would you like me to continue? Ok ... one more, why spend the money on them when Autozone rotors for a mere $25 work great and when you consider that pads and rotors are a wearable item it would be silly to spend any more then necessary?
I hope that a few members here jump in and give their opinions

I agree and respect your opinion Rob, more opinions are welcome. If you wanna shoot down or recomend my upgrades, give er. But like I said I can only speak from experience...

Re: Suggestions please (Bbasso)
Glass is half full brother...anytime your modding your car with aftermarket parts there are risks cause your car was designed for OE parts not what your putting on....but like I was saying to the dude who made the original post Rob is a smart guy, when I was a nubey asking all kinds of stupid questions he gave me some solid answers. Just listen to everyone's opinions and then do some research. I used Unorthodox, MSD, and Brembo all respected names. I've had all those parts for well over 50,000 M and never a problem.

Hello again....
I've been talkin to some friends on Honda-Tech and they warned be that the
UR crank pulley will eventually kill my motor by unbalance, is there any
truth to this? and will UR pay for any engine damage as a result of it's
crank pulley causing it? Why I believe that there is truth to this is
because AEM does not make a crank pulley....
thanks again. Jon
Our pulleys are 0 gram balanced which is identical to the OE Honda
crank pulley and better than the crank pulleys of other car manufacturers
that are usually 2-5 grams out of balance. Our pulleys have been on the
market since 1997 and we have never had a customer have any problems because
of the crank pulley.
Be careful what you believe because a brand says or does, doesn't do
something. A great example is that AEM underdrives way too much with their
accessory pulleys, 35+%, which causes voltage problems and p/s issues but
they still make them. Our pulleys underdrive less than 20% because our big
HP gains come from weight reduction versus the OE pulleys especially the
crank pulley.

I was gonna say that, that way you have more money over the next few months instead of just this month .
Second would be maintnance on that 160k beast.

Re: Suggestions please (type_r_jon)
Ok, I'm dumb. I dont know if you(Rob) tried MSD and pulleys, or you're like me and have only heard the negative feedback on them. What I was trying to say is that you are giving him the feedback that you have recieved either by searching, reading, or talking to people that have tried them.
Reading over what I posted, it does sound confusing. I think I confused myself
