Greddy AF meter users.. please look
I finally got my Greddy meter to work with the ECU w/o causing any CEL's today because I want to run my car in closed loop on the streets.
Here's what you need to do:
Buy a 1/2 watt 1k ohm resistor.
Scavenge a 4 wire Honda o2 sensor (junkyard).
Cut the wires about two inches from the o2 connector.
Use the 1k resistor to loop the two black wires together. Please use solder and heatshrink.
Connect the Green Greddy signal wire to the white Honda o2 harness wire.
Tap the black Greddy signal ground (on the coupler that connects to the Greddy 02 sensor) to the green Honda o2 harness wire.
I hope that wasn't confusing and I'll try to get some pics up soon. I just got back from a 1.5hour datalogging session so now I'm about to do some analyzing.
If you didn't understand my mumbo jumbo please download the Motec PLM instructions from the downloads section on http://www.hondata.com .

ok bear with me here its like 6 am and i havent slept yet. i have the greddy airfuel gauge (i remember in a previous post a long while u asked if i broke in and yes i did) but im somewhat confuzed on why you had to do all of that just to run a closed loop? again if im missing something obvious bear with me lol
Ok.. My o2 sensor is located 12 inches from my turbo instead in the stock position. In order to use the Greddy sensor as the main sensor the above info procedure needs to be performed. Why use it as the main sensor? Because I want to get better AF readings on my datalogs!
You can get good AF readings by simply connecting the Green Greddy signal wire to the white OEM o2 sensor wire but you will also get a o2 heater CEL.
You can also use the OEM sensor for the ECU and just add the Greddy meter as a normal read only meter.
