I have the money to spend on either one. In your opinion, whats the better option?

 

u are in an s2000 fourm seriously...but this debate has taken place aready...but i vote s2k...350z is nice if ur old...i just like having a 4 cyl. lol!!! n beating 8's...

if you don't know you shouldn't get either car... get a civic..

 

Read reviews, ask owners, drive the cars yourself. I'm a Honda person for the engineering and company philosophy almost as much as the fact that the car's just damn fun to drive...=P Ultimately it will come down to what you want and what feels good to you....and our little egos won't even factor in...

The brand new 350Z is a much different car then the last years... If you are talking about a used car, definately the s2k. New - gotta love the handling of the s2k!

How's the G35 a better compariable?

Test drive them both and decide for yourself.

 

note to self ...beat a g35 on the highway there nice but what if u wanna go toppless? i like honda over anything becuase of the quality and ensurence that the car will last through abuse...also tell me its not nuts haveing a 4 cyl. make that much power?...its ur choice test drives can only tell so much....they dont tell the future

 

If you opt for the 350z convertible, I can only say this with certainty: Nissan has never made a convertible that looks decent.

On the other side, they are just fine cars. I don't care for the interiors, especially the door panels. They just look cheap and unfinished. The car has plenty of torque for driving around town without winding it out, and corner exit speed as well. I also beleive they fixed the front end camber issues. It was wearing out the front tires all too quickly (within 1-2K miles if that) and was not adjustable.

 

please dont get conver. 350z they r soo ugly...looks like they took the hard top n cut it in half lol

 

I was in the same debate I test drove 350Z track and then drove an 05 S2k, S2000 is so much more fun to drive and looks much better. I went with S2k and its ah Honda!

 

drive both then decide, only way you can

if you choose s2k, then buy mine, already 220hp at rear wheels naturally aspirated with simple bolt on mods, lowered and fast as hell, and I'm in NJ also.

i was in the same situation not long ago. i test drove both and decided on the 350z. 2 months later... i regret that decision. i drove a friends 02 s2k the other day and loved it. the first s2k i drove was an 01 and road like ****. it was very noisy, rattled, the overall feel just felt horrible... i'm guessing i drove a lemon. the 350z is a nice car, i'm not going to down it. it's just not the car for me. i'm selling it right now and will more than likely be picking up an s2k for a daily driver.

 

^^^ The difference between you and the guy that started this though is that you have some legitimacy to your post, and some worth...lol...he just started a bunch of threads because he wanted to feel like a part of the bandwagon, talking about modding an S2000 without even owning one. Talking down on cars compared to the S2000, but then putting them up for contention with the S2000 when it came to the list of cars he wanted to buy. AND...he's like 17 years old and claims to have owned a C5 vette...and considering "downgrading" to an S2000.
