question, with you guys investing so much in your ride, why not lo-jack? Is it easy to get around?

lo-jack is only good after the theft happened and you must know its gone before putting it into effect. in most cases the'll find it after its been stripped to ****. all thats left, most of the times is 100$ worth of unibody, not worth the price of lo-jack.

Viper Tracking System > LoJack

You can set up a "Geofence" around your car, so that if it leave a certain area, the system will call your cell, text message you, email you and call your house.

that geofence seems like a good idea. do you have to pay monthly for that service?

anyways, im sorry to hear about the loss. A few of my friends got there cars stolen recently, but got it back 99% complete. good luck, i hope the same happens. did he have any kill switches? etc?

you're looking at about $600 for the viper tracking system... and a minimum of $99 annually.

Alarms dont mean **** to a thief. My car was stolen and it had a Cliffard Matrix (Pager Alarm, Hood Sensor, Motion Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Tilt Sensor). Its sad but honda car thiefs are good especially down here in Miami. Not as good as the ones in Cali but close.

Damn dude that sucks I feel kinda safe with my car I dont have an alarm or anything but the way you start my car is pretty theif proof you actually have to have the key in the ignition in the ON position then hit a switch to start no key no start
