Code: 41 - Primary oxygen sensor heater
The O2 heater is exactly what it sounds like. It helps get the O2 sensor to its operating temperature of 600 degrees Fahrenheit and also helps to keep it there.

is there a fuse for it...?? im reading through the archives and seen that someone said they checked the fuse for it...??? or a way i could reset the ecu or something...
No, it has nothing to do with it. If you reset the ECU and turn the ignition on (engine off), does the CEL immediately turn on? If yes, grab a meter and measure the heater resistance of the O2 sensor. Should be 15-40 ohms. If its not (which is sounds like it isn't), then you'll need to replace the sensor as whole.

i'd measure the ohms on the heater control circuit and the oxygen sensor input circuit from the o2 to the pcm, measure + for the heater sensor. i don't know if it has power on accsessory or run. if, you have good ohms and + on the heater change the o2

I've had this code since I swapped a z6 motor in my car.
I have yet to get a new o2 sensor, but when I do i will update

i can get one of those at autozone right...?? is it sorta like a circuit tester to check an see if something gets power..?? but it has a digital readout...
I have the same problem right now as well. my CEL has been on for a while, maybe a month or two. the only difference i can tell in the car, is that it kinda stutters when i switch on the headlights or when you turn very slowly. look into a denso o2 sensor. they are supposed to be better than the bosch. you can get a universal one and wire it yourself or spend some extra cash to get the one that just plugs right into your wiring harness.

Yeah if you had the schematic that'd be tight.. cormega73@aol.com thats my email
I'm sure Advanced Auto has a meter. Yes - a circuit checker - something that can measure resistance.
Unplug the O2 sensor from the main engine harness. Locate the two black wires and then measure the resistance between them. There are two pins and two probes from the meter. It doens't matter how you hook them up to do this measurement.
