Default FS: 2000 Acura Integra Type-R - Black - Price lowered

Real quick here, everyone.

Still on the fence as to whether I want to sell this or not. I figure I will field offers and take it from there.

Car has a 100% clean title.

Car currently has 29,2xx miles on it.

Car is 100% stock. Had an intake on it, but put the stock back on. Resonator is not in, but I still have it. Only real "modification" is the JDM shift boot with the red stitching. Again, I still have the original shiftboot if you want it.

Car runs perfectly as can be expected. Never beat on, never road raced. Did two autoXes with it. Dunno if people consider that "beating on" a car, however.

Car was stored in the winters and has never seen salt. Has always been garaged.

Currently has Falken Azenis on it about halfway through their life. Bought used off a friend. Only been on the car for about 500 miles.

Interior is immaculate.

If I get enough interest, I would have no problem showing a carfax for the car to prove it's 100% clean.

The bad:

Two dings in the whole car. One in the hood from an idiot friend who pushed down on it, and another on the top of the right fender, that was there when I bought the car. Both are VERY hard to see, and you have to catch them in the right light.

The rear rims are SLIGHTLY scuffed along the edge. Again, bought the car that way. Probably wouldn't notice unless I pointed it out.

Here's a picture...I have more if you want them...but you'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Car is located in Pittsburgh area. Will not give details but willing to meet a neutral location.

Car also has a very expensive alarm system on it. Again, will not give details until the car is bought, for obvious reasons.

Edit: I will be posting compression test results if people ask for them. I will conduct the test if there is enough interest. I can assert that the engine runs extremely strong.

More info as I think of it...

Oil changed every 2500 with Amsoil synthetic.

Tranny fluid changed at around 22k with Honda Tranny Fluid.

Also...if you are genuinely interested in the car and come to look at it, a deposit would have to be made before you drive it.

I didn't drive this car before I handed the guy over the money, and it worked out good for me.

I can't take any chances (i.e. an accident...a clutch burner, joyrides, etc) with a car this expensive.

Crap...I edited out the price...I'm *asking* 21k...but that is negotiable. Basically, if you have an offer, shoot me a PM and I'll be very honest with my reply.

good luck with the sale. from what I've been seeing your price is just a bit to high, compared to the others for sale at the current time.

This is coming from someone who sold three ITR's.... their price completely depends on the prices of the others at the time you are selling, trust me.

I'm willing to listen to offers, like I said. I do have a limit, however.

An acura dealer in NJ has offered me 18k for it, but I'm not sure about driving 350 miles without them seeing the car.

Nice car, I fuggin' gave mine away. Keep that thing if you are a true Honda man. You'll constantly regret it.

You say you bought the car off a friend. How did he take car of it? Details.

I've seen a few R's at local auto-cross getting pounded. And I mean pounded. I'd hate to get one of those cars after seeing the abuse.

??? I don't recall saying I bought the car off a friend. I bought it off a middle aged man from West Virginia. It had 20k on it when I bought it. I've taken it autoXing, but I don't consider that beating on the car at all considering it was made for far worse tortures (road racing).

I can count on one hand how many times I've had it at AutoX. Believe me, I've taken extremely good care of this car. I dunno how else to vouch for the maintenance on this car. Honda filters, amsoil oil, changed the tranny fluid. Not a single problem and the car still runs like it's new.

Like I said, if anyone wants a compression test performed, I'm more than willing to oblige and post the details. I can promise you though, there may be rust on the VTEC lobes because I hardly ever get on it

BTW, the first owner was about as meticulous as me. He didn't drive it in the winter, at all, he used Amsoil as well and when I asked to test drive it when I went to look at it, he wouldnt' let me because it was raining and it was clean. Sounds exactly like me, lol.

I dunno man. It's a great car and all but I think it's time to move on. I hope I don't regret it but what can ya do?

Another picture as requested...I also have pictures of the engine bay and interior, but it's all stock, so I dunno what those need to be up for, but if someone wants them, I'll be glad to post them.

Just did a compression test on the motor and got 240 all the way across.

GOOD IDEA! (free bump too ) I let a kid test drive my b18C'd Del Sol and he blew the motor.

Nice car, so I thought a bump wouldn't hurt.
