Need new boots what do you guys recommend?
I was thinking about the alpinestar ridge boots. I just want a nice comfortable boot while not spending to much mone. Something under about $150. Any suggestions?

I've looked at the Ridge from Alpinestar. It's a decent casual riding boot. However, I prefer something taller then your barely-over-the-ankle boot. If casual and inexpensive is what you seek, but still want the best protection for your money, look into the Alpinestar Roam. It's all purpose and all black. Not flashy if you don't want the "power ranger" look. They are comfortable enough to walk around in and will not stand out in casual clothes either. They aren't as tall as a sport or race boot, but are taller then the Ridge. They are tall enough to tuck pants into, but short enough and thinner then a race boot to still casually wear clothes over. These were one of the first, possibly the first, riding boots I owned and like them alot. I have since upgraded a few times and currently ride Alpinestars S-MX Plus. Casual riding boots are not talked about to often on here, so I figured I would share my input rather then post the ubiquitous "Search."
I just picked these up in black for 120 at cycle gear.

The boots are very comfortable. You can walk around on these boots without them killing your feet, but yes they do get pretty hot.
