Interesting...closed deck design, with some small water passages, don't think that this is the best block for a street application.

payn tech knows there sh*t. only thing is their prices are outrageous for them to build you a motor. a b20 built by them with endyns is like 5000.00 inlcuding the block. their machine shop has copied most of endyn's work and it is really good machine work. the price on the block doesnt surprise me at all. look what it costs to get a b20 from them, jeff is only selling his for 3050 shipped and people think that is high

Yeah this is very exciting news indeed.

The Honda B series will live on forever just as the old domestic motors do . . .

vtecvoodoo talking to his grand children (scary thought):

Back in the old days, I would have just thrown a b-series init and called it a day!

This is exactly what I've been waiting for. I'll definitely be purchasing one (maybe two) when it's available. I hope they aren't *slightly* delayed like the ENDYN supercharger.

There's an upside and a downside to this.

Upside is, a NEW, sleeved block with excellent quality. Dart has been making V8 components like heads and such for YEARS.

Bad thing is, the guys who deal in stolen motors. Example.. a stolen R drivetrain. Block is not legit due to the numbers on it.
Homeboy thief buys a Dart/Payn block, and throws the hot block in a lake, thus lowering his chances of getting caught.

That would be kinda an expensive way to secure your thiefin'...wouldnt it be cheaper to buy a Legit Block from someone? Thieves are gonna thief either way.

...It will be a great product... to bad no one will want to buy it and be associated with Endyn co-conspirators... might be afraid someone had something to do with the design...

Zeus - who can't wait to hear how it will suck from the same people who never tried the RW pistons...

Hmm... I wonder if Dart is going to start making B-series heads???

Todd C, who knows that Dart is well known in the domestic world.

Tom (Payn) does know his chit. They built my B20vtec motor for me(not enough time to myself). He used to work at Kinsler Fuel Injection for quite a while. He knows how to make power. They opened up their shop early last year. Kevin is the head tech. He used to be at a local Honda dealer.
Good team to be doing performance Honda stuff.
Jeff

12.8@110 -all motor, relatively untuned, DC 4-2-1(non-JDM!), and power steering hooked up. 2280lbs.

A good friend of mine went to the show in Indianapolis a few months ago, and there IS a company coming out with bare castings of the B18C1 and B16A heads.
No valves, no rockers, just a head with cam caps, rails and bolts.

Somehwere in the $500-600. area suggested retail. So I'm sure wholesale would be in the $350-400. area...

People that keep touting Endyn stuff just need to do more research on sme other boards ........

Endyn (Larry) = from the majority of people that deal with him (him being Larry).

But I haven't dealt with him, so what do I know ......

I asked my buddy about dart's b-block. He goes on to tell me, "why din j00 ask me about it s00ner? I knew about them early last year." Also told me Edelbrock is supposed to come out w/ a block soon also (and maybe head too).

yshi - who dreams about a Edelbrock block/head/intake manifold/header on 234

Payn is, in NO WAY, a "co-conspirator" to Endyn.
