Valve cover is NICE. Pardon my DOHC stupidity but what is that? B18C? B16A? Like I said, excuse me if that is a dumb question but I can't tell them apart as I've only worked on SOHCs myself. I want to see some full car shots!

Thanks, it is a B16A. I do valve covers for locals too, there are flaws in mine but nothing too bad.

The full pic came out blurry, I guess primer cars and cloudy days don't mix. Heres mine peeking in the background while my friend/coworker was getting his shots done

How did you mask off the letters to paint the valve cover? I've been thinking about doing something like that, but didnt know how hard it would be.

2 posts in the appearance forum weren't enough?? come on now man, this post has very little technical merit and should have stayed in the A/c forum

<<< not generally a stickler about this stuff, but i did just see the same 4 pics in the past 3 threads asnd quite frankly im cranky

I didn't make 2 posts in the appearance forum, and if you read the 2nd post in the topic I made it says it is a repost, where someone else posted my pics.
Thanks for looking

I just used masking tape and an exacto knife, it doesn't take very long.

Thanks, I do alot of valve covers locally.
I shave it then, sand and wet sand. During painting I sand in between each coat...which theres about 10-13 coats on there total
