Does anyone on here know if the JDM ITR b-pipe length is different from the USDM ITR b-pipe length? I know that JDM is stainless and 2.5", and that the JDM header has a longer collector, but, since I don't know about JDM cat lengths, I can't really figure out if the b-pipes are the same length or not.

Does anyone know?

And... does anyone know how CTR b-pipe lengths compare to the ITR b-pipe?

JDM ITR b-pipe should be about the same length as US 94-99 GSR.

I've heard that the CTR b-pipe is approx. 4" shorter than the JDM ITR... would that mean that the CTR b-pipe is almost the same length as the USDM ITR b-pipe?

I'm asking because I have the opportunity to either get a JDM ITR or a JDM CTR 2.5" b-pipe. I'm wondering which will be easier to modify to fit.

 

heres what i know, maybe you can use this info:

on my ek, installed a JDM exhaust made for my car using current USDM cat. did not fit.

shortened cat 3", exhaust fit fine......hopefully that will help you in your quest, or maybe im just an idiot.......probably the latter

 

i see now... ne way.. what makes you think the stock CTR B pipe is 2.5" or the JDM ITR for that matter...

it would be funny cuz the JDM cat at the tribolt flange is a tiny 2" ish just like the usdm..

Actually... I've heard from about 3 people that the JDM ITR/CTR b-pipes are 2.5". Mendrel bent, and stainless steel too!

 

I don't think the EK9 exhaust is 2.5" either. A guy I know had a JDM EK9 Mugen header and it was only 2.25"...just like USDM ITR.

 

I'm pretty sure the JDM b-pipe is 2.25", can't say I've ever measured it but its definatly smaller than my test pipe which is 2.5"

At the same time.. it's definitely bigger than the USDM b-pipe. And the JDM ITR cat is 2.5" I believe.
