Default 92-95 Hatch B18b turbo, 1bar (14.5ish) hopeing for 11's got way less

First off. i'm really tired. please excuse my type-r typeing skills 2night

Heres the story w/ all my excuses, lol
I got to the track, teched in, pumped 4 gallons of 116oct. in the tank and went to the lanes. I pulled off on the side so i could cool down so I would know i wouldnt have any heating issues. About 1 hour and a half I'm ready to run so i set my 22x8x13 (on lensos) slicks down to 10psi. Well at this psi my DP istappin the ground (its also heat wraped). I get to the water box hopeing to raise the tire pressure up from heat. I do a burn out and then more forward. I'm draging water and I'm asked to leak (they said i had a water leak... yea right) I go back to the tower after adding air to my tires, now at 15psi in my slicks and also off teh ground, i try again. I do a nice burn out, go forward.... have to leave again, they are saying i'm leaking water everywhere. I pull over to the side and it was hardly a drip from where my heat wrap had gotten wet... err they are gay. SO yea I took a towel and wiped my DP completely off and try one last time to make a pass. this time i go around the water box on now cold slicks and stage up. I launch and I get nothing but spinning and rev lemit in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. finaly in 4th it grabs, sits me back and then my clutch starts to slip hitting the revlemit at the end (7,500, ls tranny) I knew my chances of running an 11 that night were over because of the constant spinning the first half of the track and my heat socked parts were no longer cool from that 1 1/2 hour wait to cool. ... oh well I'll quit bitching with my shitty typeing skills. Here is the only pass i got

60ft ... 2.096
330 ... 5.847
1/8 ... 8.681
mph ... 88.43
1000 ... 11.047
1/4 ... 13.001
mph ... 115.83

I was hopeing for 11s... maybe next time? BTW, on 10psi I've pulled 1.7 60ft, missed 3rd bad and coasted from the 1,000ft because i heard a missfire(too much gap on the plugs) and ran a 12.4 @ 108 before. This pass was on 1bar.

what you think?

Its the new starter guy, he's a complete dick. I'm friends with everyone else tho. I think he has small ***** sendrome haha

He doesnt relize I'm in a FWD thats low with slicks and doing burn outs in a water hole.... its almost like... DER, no **** i'mma sling water. I sat and idled it for 5 minutes in the staging lanes to prove each time. It pissed me off cuz all my stuff was heat soaked and my car was starting to get too warm.

Whats your motor setup? 14psi is worthless without knowing the rest of the set up. Also was your car tuned on race gas?

Sad to hear about the bad treatment at the track. Is it a RWD dominated track? Good 11 sec. worthy MPH though

No it isnt tuned to 1bar, It was tuned to 11psi on uberdata with a conservitive tune in the 11's on 93 pump gas. I put in the 1 bar spring w/ 116oct because i could care less if it blew or not as long as i ran what i wanted

They shouldn't hire dicks like that, man.

Domestic-biased jackasses

Don't worry about it Brad, you'll hit 11's, you just seem to be in a string of bad luck or something lately.

Thanks I'll have mad VtEc now yo haha

Yes i'm running stock sleeves, I believe the sleeves in my LS are cracked (ors its an head gasket) because when the car is warmed up I cant boost it too much or It will start to run hot on me. Its been this way for a while, I might of done damage back when i used to run a FMU setup.

I'm running an LS tranny right now so I'll prolly be thinking about if I want to keep using it or switch. One reason I would keep it is last year I used a GSR tranny on a B20turbo setup, the tighter gearing seemed like it made it wanna spin in all gears (even 4th) and right now with the LS tranny I've got teh power to run 11's and on street tires I only have traction problems in 2nd. I'll be thinking about it tho

Brad screw ls/vtec. I want to see you hit 11's with a stock head ls on 10psi....and next time don't run more boost than we tuned for!

either way, I'll have a built LSvtec as a back up or a Built LS as a Backup. I dont see where I'm loosing out. Nothing's wrong with having a spare. Right?

And I'll have Brett's Uberdata'd P28 So if i need to swap engines, I'll have a tune for both engines ready to go. (would need to retune his tho for the new engine).

i wonder if you were in need of more timing since you were running much higher octane than you tuned on.. your mph is decent tho...

no he definintly didn't need more timing. This car is tuned on only 10psi with a stock map sensor on 93 octane. He had the boost turned up to 15psi so i know it was running lean as ****.

If he has the right tires then a shorter geared tranny will only benefit him.

we tried getting picks of the motor when i took that other shot of his car, but the battery in the camera ran out in the middle of the pic. The motor is messed up now anyways. We finally found out why its been overheating. He tore the motor down to find 3 cracked sleeves. Its been overheating for a while so it looks like they got owned running that fmu setup he had

I'm sure he will have another block back in there by the end of this week though
