will these fit in 92 civic, and how much is a pair of 2001 type r seats worth these days... do you think this is a good swap, two targa rs seats for two type r seats 2001?

 

I think they will fit but a friend doubts it if they do i think im going to trade.

 

I put them in my '99 Hatch, and I had to swap the rails on the seats. No big deal.
I think they go for $4-700 depending on condition.

I dont' know how you guys can stand the stock civic seats...they suck! At least my '99 Civic ones did..they were hard as a rock, with very little bolstering.

 

I picked up some 99-00 Si seats for my CX and even they suck! What happened to the glory days of the 4th gen Si seats?

 

Seriously..even my '88 Accord seats were more comfortable than the stock '99 Civic seats! Man, I feel like I'm sitting on cardboard.

Yet, my girlfriend, even after riding in my R seats, still likes he stock '00 Civic seats just fine. Some people, just don't notice or care.

im with you on that one bro.. i hate it when little **** goes wrong w/ the car.. it gets me all pissed off and want to kill someone..

i put GSR leather seats into my civic 3 weeks after buying the car cause the seats sucked soo bad.. ive been thinking about RSX-S seats but unsure if they are a bolt-on affair or require custom brackets..

 

Are you sure? Redracinghart put his LS Integra seats into his GF's 98 civic hatch, he didn't have to swap rails. They bolted right in.
