i would think that if you remove the abs unit, you will then need to remove the 2 lines coming from teh master cylinder, as well as th 4 lines going to each corner of the car. then you will need to install a 4 wheel disc non abs proportioning valve, and run 2 new custom lines from the master cylinder to the propr valve, then run 4 custom lines to each corner.

to me it doesnt sound worth it....why not jsut go to a salvage yard nd buy a used warranteed abs unit?

well good luck on that cuase when i dismantle ludes the brake lines are quite a bit different between abs and non abs cars inside the engine bay. plus you still ahve the prop valve issue.

If only it was that easy....

The MCs have different thread sizes, the proportioning valve is different, the rear hard lines are different as well as all of the fronts, you CANNOT mix ABS parts with non_ABS parts like boosters, MCs and pedal brackets, etc.

Searching actually does have some good info, man.

Just removed the ABS on my Prelude (with the engine out), following Hawkze_2.3 instructions. The guide was very useful, and I changed everything stated - Booster, master cylinder and new proportioning valve.

For the brake pipes, I just joined the old ABS pipes to the new proportioning valve, without replacing the whole pipes through to each wheel.

It doesn't look particularly pretty, but should do the job.

I have done a few ABS to Non-ABS conversions on both integras, and a 92 prelude. The master cylinders and brake boosters are different, but you can use the ABS ones with the Non-ABS proportioning valve. On the prelude, it depends on where you mount the valve, but you will need to make one of the lines that goes from the MC from scratch. If you don't have a tubing bender, get one, as well as a line cutter, and a Double Flairing Tool. When you buy the flairing tool, make sure it makes double flares, or you will have leaks. The whole process is time consuming, but it will take almost 25 lbs from the car, and will look much cleaner if you do it right. Hope that helps.
