Default My VAFC Install

Hey guys i just picked up a vafc. I installed it the other day, its a pretty easy install if you are good with wiring and electrical. It only took about an hour to wire up. I mounted it under my radio, its the best location because you can adjust it easily and still have the ashtray which i use for change. Im gonna try and get my car to a dyno soon and tune it out, but i know i will get more out of once i get my cams in. Here are a few pics of the install. Peace

Nice, I thought that'd be one of the best place to put V-AFC too, Can I have that $.05 laying on the floor ? I'm broke

Looks tight. I've seen some creative places to put the VAFC but I also like the under the radio look. I guess there isn't really a common place for that in Integras but it looks good.

looking at all those wires gives me a headache. I just picked up my vafc today and now i'm wondering if i should do it myself or not heh. So you just used electrical tape to connect the wires together?

The install looks good. Oh and wanted to ask how you like the Skunk2 exhaust. I have one on my 94 GS-R and I love it. I haven't heard anyone else's response on their exhaust.

Exact location as mine except my wire goes through the storage pocket (not around the console).

i would recommend cutting out a hole in the back of the storage pocket to run the wire behind it. you dont want someone kicking or steping on the cable.

you have it mounted in a good place.......mine's kept away from prying eyes........i managed to customize it so that it slides out from inside the pocket.

I plan on changing the wire, thats just temp. I used but splice connectors and then put tape on them. They will hold fine.

This is where I put mine. Since I no longer need VAFC..I'm putting my AVC-R there instead

Hey non-Vtec, your VAFC setup is pretty awesome; now I know what setup I want when I get one.

Mounting mine in the driver side visor so it is only visible when i put down my visor. Rather not have people scoping out my gadgets when i'm eating dinner or at the mall.

I just spent today mounting my VAFC so it looks clean. I placed it where the ashtray used to be. Looks really clean. Mounts flush as well, so it doesn't stick out. I will take pictures later. But..., it took alot of work. Quite a bit of cutting to get it to fit right. But well worth the work. Looks awesome.
