Default 4x114.3 integra type r brake rotors

i need some info as to which conventional brake rotor(accord and prelude) i can get to change out my 4x114.3 brake rotors.

my type r rotors are wearing out on me... the surface area is way too distorted to resurface.

i would like to know if i can purchase an accord or prelude rotor in the 4x114.3 spec to just change it.

back from the dead..cause i have the same problem

...how do you space the caliper from the hub?

...if anything i have heard all i have to do is buy GSR rotors and just have them re-drilled to 4x114...i am just trying to find the easiest solution. thanks

you can also upgrade to 92-96 prelude vtec 11" rotors...

all you need is the Prelude calipers, pads, backets and rotors..

Put a 2mm spacer between the bracket and the spindle, that eliminates the clearance issue mentioned above... bolt the rest up, re-bleed the brakes, good to go.

Also.. if you ever need to replace the front wheel bearings, you can use 2001 civic front wheel bearings. I did mine about a month ago. I just have to figure out which ones for the rear

PM me if you have any questions

get 86-87 acura legend rotors, i had the same prob the day before track day. you might have to shim the rotors with some large washers (in between rotor and hub) because the stick out further away from the hub than the stock ones and so they wont rub on you r calipers.

because the accord 4x114.3 are an 11 inch rotor, andthe 96 spec itr are i believe 9.25 and they wont fit with the 96 spec calipers, thats why the have to be jdm. or atleast with the same diameter and offset.

you can upgrade to 11" but you need the 98 spec caliper or the prelude caliper to run the larger rotors, and you can even rut the nsx caliper but with shims. i did it cause i got a good deal on the whole package, but now its a pain in the *** trying to find replacement rotors. i dont see to many civics with 96 spec itr rims, so its kinda rare.

here is everything you need cause i have never found direct answers from any other thread

if your going to keep everything stock and not upgrade calipers these are the parts you need

the calipers are from a 94-97 gsr
the pads are from a 94-97 gsr
brake lines 94+ gsr
rotors 92-96 si non vtec space the caliper how the guy mentioned above
e brake cables i havent confirmed but i believe 2000 civic si

any other questions pm me

i heard it weakens the rotor and makes them prone to cracking

Default Re: (B16B)

im not going to get gsr and redrill them, because as often as i warp stock ones i dont want to risk them cracking. plus whats the point of buying a new set of rotors and calipers after already upgrading?? if i can find a place to get jdm rotors then my problem is solved. so far the 86-87 acura legend rotors have been the right size, just not strong enough. plus having shim them dosent make me feel better.

so no one knows where to get remanufactured or even oem jdm 96 spec itr rotors?? (4x114.3 lug pattern witha 9.25 diameter)
