i bought an exhaust and it is said to have an itr muffler . shouldnt it say honda on it somewhere? is there any sure-tell ways to identify a real itr muffler?

 

If you post a few photos, it will be easy to tell you whether the muffler is an ITR unit or not.

 

I am pretty sure it has honda stamped on it.

If it did dont you think that all the other models might be marked the same way(LS RS GS GSR)? "Honda" is hardly the way to ID them. Photos would help, so would doing some quick searching.

 

ITR crome muffler tips are welded on and (GSR,LS,RS) all have bulted on crome tips.

 

it should say Honda near the inlet.
