Default WTB... D series block or complete non-vtec swap. D16y7

Well I blew the single cam in my beeter on the way to work and now I am wondering what i should do. I already have another car that I am doing a K swap in so I am not really interested in spending much money on this car.
I blew a rod out of the #4 cylinder and I have not taken the head off yet to see if it is still good. I am thinking that I may just try and find another D16y7 block since it will be the easiest and probly cheapest. Is there anything else I can do that may be just as cheap or cheaper and not much more complicated? I am going to do the block swap myself if the head is still good. everything on the motor sensors, pumps, etc should still be good so I think it is really just a mtter of finding a nice clean cheap D series block to switch everything over to.

any comments or idea's? anybody got a clean D series block or swap that they want to get rid of cheap?

Cliff notes: blew D16y7 in 99 hatch beater. lookin to get it running agian for a low price and will be doing all the work myself. Lookin for the cheapest most reliable way to get her going again, I just need her for driving back and forth to work...

I live in So-Cal

I am also looking for and RSX-S wiring harness, and an OEM passenger side 96-00 civic mirror or a pair of aftermarket ones.

I have a 98 Y7 longblock (valve cover to oilpan, no intake manifold) with around 95K miles on it. Could probably use a new pan gasket. Just pulled it to go B-series. I'm in Detroit area but can ship if you're interested. Make an offer if you want.
