Intake Manifold Bolt Problem
I am trying to remove my stock D16A6 Intake manifold and have removed everything except the nut at the center of the flange. It was stripped by God knows what and I am wondering if there is any way in hell to remove it. This is the bolt that requires a swivel socket to reorient yourself above the manifold to remove it.
Ideas so far - Some sort of flexable shaft for a rotary tool and a cutoff wheel, problem with that is that the space is very limited and I want to leave the stud in place. Second idea so far is to remove the head but I want to try and avoid that at all costs.

You ever try those sockets specifically made for stripped bolts? They have helped me out a few times. They work damn well. You can get a set from craftsman for 29.99.

those sockets work like a charm. i bought the impact grade, where you can put a rachet on em, and i have used them so many times, i can't imagine having a tool set without them
