juss making sure

88-89 civic hb are compatible with 88-89 civic hb and crxs??? and vice versa with no mods???

90-91 civic hb are compatible with 90-91 civic hb and crxs??? and vice versa with no mods???

It's always worked like that in mine (I've had several) There are a few differences in the sedan idiot lights, but everything still works.

for a complete cluster for cluster swap they will both plug right in (88-89 and 90-91).

BUT.. if you are trying to mix and match two clusters to make ONE good one then you have to be careful. Honda sourced two companies to make cluster (among other things).

I have a bum temp guage in mine. so i found a used cluster for cheap (mine = 88, new = 89). They both physically fit the same in the car, but the guts of the clusters are COMPLETELY different and are not interchangable.
