Default new (?) inexpensive lightweight cast wheel for us to play with????

JDM Buddyclub P1 Racing SF wheel at http://www.r-speed.com looks promising at 10.12 lbs in a 15x6 size... and only $165 each.. although I know they were only $150 each a while ago... drats!
beautiful design too, I may have to look into a set of these for my GSR.....

i love that wheel! Gunmetal and looks like of fine quality! I may have a new favorite rim now. The logo on the spoke makes it look like the kosei k1 sorta, but overall i think the wheel looks better than kosei.

Love 'em . They're a lot like the Kosei K-1's, which I also like.

Whoa.. lighter than Rotas, cool design, and I really dig the color. I definitely need to check those out.

Plus maybe these won't get hated on like Rotas do

The weight is pretty impressive. The look has improved from the K1 Racing which I have. Just don't know the weight of the 15x7 but I think it will be lighter too. Anyway Buddy Club's wheels and suspension always impress me!!

they look kinda deep dish...maybe its just me...ive never been into deep set rims...but the price/weight of the wheels make them a major player into budget minded racers pocket books...

I don't think that's right. I am 99% sure those aren't cast wheels. I believe they're forged...I think that's what the "SF" stands for (HOW? I don't know). Lastly, if they're only $165 per wheel, that's either a misprint, scam, or the greatest deal EVER!

Check out this post...guy has these wheels and claims they're forged.

15's, cast, 10.22 lbs? anyone else see a problem using these on street?

i say first pothole = 2 bent rims.
i agree...

i will wait and see what the durability is on these wheels. i think they might a bit on the "too light" side...

SF = cast, cheaper

QF = forged, more expensive

-yeah what he said.
-there are TWO manufacturing versions of the same design.
-they do have these in 4 lug.
-glad you guys like them, I want a set bad.
-I am sure we'll find out quickly if they are not strong enough.....!

Thanks for the clarification but how is it possible to get cast wheels down to approx. 10lbs? My CP-035's (forged) in 16's weigh over 11lbs. Boggles the mind...
