Default Getting ripped of sucks...

Anyone ever deal with TurboDC2? I ordered an a pillar gauge pod from him.. supposedly it was brand new. I sent him 30 bucks through paypal and that was sometime last week, and since it cleared I haven't heard anything from him. Is he legit or has anyone ever dealt with him? Buyers please beware if he ever tries to sell something to you. I'm giving him until wednesday to respond to my emails, or else im going to have to file a complaint through paypal to get my money back.

Import scene = shady as ****...

yeah.. i wanted to give him benefit of the doubt.. and yeah i know its only 30 bucks, thats why im not super angry... but indeed it is a lesson learned. i also read that thread... that's whats keeping me down to earth since i just dropped over 1k to someone online.

thing is.. it's just a gauge pod.. the day that the payment cleared he instant messaged me through this board say it cleared. Why would he do that and stop replying to my emails or instant messages? why bother even telling me it cleared if he ripped me off... i just don't understand.

Give it some time. It takes a real pathetic person to rip someone off for $30. If his intent was to make dirty money out of it, he would have tried to sell something more $$$.

Save all you conversations with these guy. Any information you have on him. Report his name to honda-tech and ask if they can give you his ip address. Hopefully he has a dynamic ip address, you can track him and press charges. Then sue for emotional damage. That might not slide, but can't hurt. Just a thought anyway, couldn't take more than a half an hour. After all, this guy should be caught, over $30 is something hard to complain over though. Good luck.
