All Motor Alcohol guys...What fuel pump?
I can't think of anyone in all motor using mechanical off the top of my head, so what electric pumps are you using? What is too small and what is overkill?
Remember the ones that Venom used to sell? Were those Bosch pumps?
Thanks in advance

Thanks. It seems like the Weldon pumps fail a lot and is about the same price, if not more, than a mechanical setup. Have you had trouble with those pumps going out?
With all-motor, you want to stay away from mechanical pumps, simply because you don't want the parasitic drag from the pump on the motor. Weldon pumps are great for all-motor. So are Aeromotive and a few others. I personally use Product Engineering.

I know that there are some problems when running Methanol on some pumps.
It has a tendency to "eat" thing up. Ethanol on the other hand is very friendly to just about any pump.
I have heard good things about the Bosch pumps too.

Yeah we didn't want a mechanical pump for that very reason. We have an Aeromotive A1000 and at least Aeromotive will tell you that its not designed for Meth, and it will shorten the life of the pump, but people do use it with success. Everyone else just tells you their pumps are for Meth whether they were designed for it or not.
We can buy 3 A1000s for the price of some of the others.
Thanks for everyone's input

No alternator and a 16 V TurboStart.
We could run all weekend and never charge it and never see below 15V. It weighs 48 lbs...but hang it off the front and its no biggie.
