((wreck pics))This is just a reminder of never Riding/Driving outside your limits while in the Canyo
So last sunday my friends and I went for a ride. We started with 9 bikes and ended up with 7. While riding an unfamiliar rode and blasting down a long straight the first bike (Brand New Green ZX-10) recieved a vicsious tank slapper followed by gravel then shooting him off a 30 foot cliff. The 2nd bike stopped to help him. The 3rd bike slowed but the 4th didnt see the 3rd bike slowwing so instead of rear ending him he also went off the same cliff- heres the results of what happens when flying off a cliff @ over 100mph.
Remember guys when riding and driving the canyons never do it outside your limits.

**outcome**
One guy (Sam on the zx-10) has sever head trauma and has been in and out of surgery the past week. Pete suffered a broken leg. Both bikes totalled offcourse.
Sorry the pics were with my cell phone, I didnt have time to ride home and brake out the real digi's. So please guys no your limits.........

One more thing, both riders are in there 30's and have been riding for over 10 years...
if the first guy doesn't pass away, i think he should thank his lucky stars. Maybe this will be a "wake up call" to your other friends, who didn't crash. Please, nobody respond with a "they were amateurs", and i dont agree with the title of this thread. It's not about limits. Its about how stupid can you be doing 100mph in a canyon.....c'mon people.... I could see a LITTLE spirited, but whats the point of doing 100mph canyon runs?? Are there prizes at the end??
reason number 23 why i dont think i want to get a bike.

)

Well when we found him he was bleeding out of his eyes and ears.... So were hoping not, but theres a good chance. He had a major blood clot which put him into over 11 hours of surgery the 1st night in. Surprisingly he didnt break his neck when he flipped end over end.
Please tell your friends to ride with in there limits... We all know we buy street bikes and fast cars to drive them to our/there limits. We all speed on a daily basis and do not obey speed laws... so as many of us say-
SPEED SAFELY GUYS!!!

Why don't you read that a few more times and then read what you first posted. 100 mph in a canyon is not in any ones limits. And no we don't ALL speed or drive carelessly like you and your friends just because we have fast/nice cars/bikes.
Don't mean to sound like an *******, but you're only tempting your own fate by not obeying the laws. We have them for a reason, so things like this don't happen.
Take your limits to the track.

thats the thing with bikes.. yea you can respect your limits.. stay within them... ride safely... BUT one patch of loose gravel, a bump in the road, etc. can send you flying
and when that happens..would you rather loose control on the bike? or in a car?

Maybe the guy that wrote this post was riding within his limits and just reminding people what happens when you go over your limit like how his friends were.
Anyways, hopefully your friends recover.
