10 point SCCA spec cage kit with those options is just $649.80.
The FE triangulation adds tubes to go through the fire wall to the front strut towers and most kits tie into the engine subframe as well.

how much for a 8 point or a 10 point roll kit for a 88 CRX with the 10 point kit i need to keep the stock dash the car is daily driven so getting in and out is not a big deal but a consideration.

8 point = $169 = ~ 80lbs.
10 point= $249 = ~ 110 lbs.
Stock dash is no problem on all of these kits.
