Default Hawk HP + wow

Well I just installed my new brembo front rotors and the hawk hp+ pads and hold cow does the car feel great. The stopping power is amazing. My buddy who drives a CSP miata with good brakes on it was even impressed. I will get a chance on Sunday to see how they really work at an Autocross. But I am very impressed. No more Rabestos crap STS pads for me.

Do you think HP+ pads will get up to temp for an autox?

Esp for those events where they run 2 run heats....

I think they will.

That's the same feeling I had when I went to HP+ for the first time. Man, that was a long time ago.
Just wait till you start tracking the car. Those pads will fad and you will need something better!

they will no problem - HP+ are "good" from basically 0 degrees. I was afraid of exactly the opposite until he said autocross - they'll be fine for that.

I use that compound for a rain/hillclimb pad on the Golf and really like it. Feels great from right off the line and isn't so hard on rotors that I can't use it on the street.
