Pretty cool eh???
Cylinders go this way in the pic: 1 2 3 4
Well, basically here's the short story version. 80 shot was spraying. Engine went POP! POP! POP! Idled like crap, felt like it wanted to stall out. Limped it the rest of the way home(less than a mile). First thing I did when I got home was do a compression test. Numbers came out cylinder 1=160, 2=0, 3=160, 4=25. All this happened on my birthday too! Ain't that a bitch??
If you look closely, you can see on the left exhaust valve on cylinder 2 is chipped. So, that's why it came out to 0 psi, I'm guessing. But, I can't really figure out why it came out so crappy on cylinder 4. This is my first time looking at valves while still in the cylinder head and I honestly dont know how it could be leaking. I mean obvioiusly it's pretty damn dirty, and I'm guessing those are considered burnt valves???? I dont know. I'm gonna take my head to a machine shop called Clark engine works. Supposedly that's the machine shop my local dealership uses. Maybe he can tell me more. Anybody with experience can tell me about this a little more????
thanks.
