its such a nice day out today i think i wanna go remove my wing, anything i should know before i go does this? its just 4 bolts on the underside of the trunk correct? also i dont have anything to plug the holes with, is that a problem or will rainwater drain through the holes into the trunk? tia

 

after you remove the bolts there is also this strong double sides foam which is best taken off with dental floss... If you don't have anything to cover the holes and there is a chance of rain, you could always cover them with tape! A friend did that and it worked well until he got some plugs for them, which can be found at Kragen.

 

What 1 Fast R said. However, pluggin/covering the holes is merely for cosmetics, and they dont go into the hatch or anything.

so the water wont leak into the trunk or anythign like that if the holes aren't covered? well then my baby is about to be wingless

 

take the wing off and look where the holes are positioned, they lead to the channel on the edge of the hatch, with a big fat seal to keep h20 out. i have white painted plugs for mine, but only cause it looks better.
