well are you talking about the 2.7L out of the legend or are you talking about the Gen 1, NSX, with the 3L V6??? because ive seen vary few legend power civics but ive seen more of the NSX powered civics, Belive it or not, but from what ive heird the NSX motors (the C30), is easyer to put in, though it would still be custom and all...

Why? If it's for "originality" then ok I guess have fun. But if it's for performance, an H22 will make as much if not more power, has better aftermarket support, and can be swapped in much more easily and cheaply.
that is untrue.. mine seems to have no problem keeping up with and passing cars that are "supposed'' to be fast.
stock vr6 swap vs stock h22 swap.... h22 will win for everything. Autocross, drag race, top speed, street race.

Actaully an H22 swapped civic should do the best from a roll becuase it doesn't have to get traction. From a stop is where high-hp, light weight FWD cars are the worst.

either way that things a v6... think of it this way
a 4banger accord owns a v6 accord... so.. a 4 banger h22.. vs a 3l v6? im pretty sure that v6 would get owned
if you want to tow some **** go for the v6 lol... if u wanna be fast go for something else.. originality.. well sure a v6 in a civic is tight, but a b8 would be better

Yeah everyone is this thread is hilarious. H22 will smoke a V6 eh?
HASport has been making mounts for over a year and a lot of people are having a lot of success. Bad axle angles? Sure they're not 100% straight through, but the engine is backed up as close to the steering rack as possible. Not to mention the need to maintain some descent ground clearance.
Educate yourselves before you make ridiculous comments and unsubstantiated remarks .
Bring your H22 in your EG and I'll take you to lunch with this. 230 lb/ft just above idle.

These engines have some serious potential and respond to bolt ons with ridiculous success. The best H22 stats (JDM) are as follows... 223 HP 163 lb/ft
My J32, which by the way is not the top of the line as far as J32's go, has the following... 270 HP 232 lb/ft
As far as price and amount of work is concerned, they are comparable. You still need to buy mounts for the H22, use a different shifter, we-wire the car, use a different ECU, use custom axles. The J32 also comes with a 6 Spd trans, a lot of which are LSD. I'm not knocking the H22, it's a great engine, but know your facts before you make comments.
