ITR brakes...
I went through the search and all I could find was an accord 5 lug conversion. Anyway, I'm wondering what is required to fix my GSR to run ITR brakes and how much it will cost. I'm also wondering if and how they will improve my braking... Because if they wont than I'm thinking I just might not get em. Thanks a bunch guys!!
All you need to get the ITR spec brakes are the ITR front calipers, and the 11.1" rotors which fastbrakes can provide. This will bolt right up with slight modifications. This would provide the same braking power as the ones on the ITRs. There's no need to upgrade to the 5 lugs if you just want to improve your braking distance.
By the way, I have a set of ITR front brake calipers for sale. $130 obo.

If you would like to do all the work yourself, here is what you will need:
1.) front calipers from the 91-98 accord wagon, integra type r, 92-96 prelude vtec, 97+ prelude, 1998 or newer accord v6 caliper, 95-98 Odyssey. The caliper bracket will need to have 2.75mm of material removed from the mounting surface.
2.) stock 11" rotors from 92-96 Prelude VTEC redrilled to Integra bolt pattern (4X100). The rotor has the same specs as the Type-R rotors and will fit the factory 15" wheels.
3.) bolt on the rotors and the calipers.

hells yeah BSQ to the res-Q.
exactly, and it is a very inexpensive upgrade to much better braking.
I have a fastbrakes 2 piece 11" rotor that is 1" thick, beefy thick, and it has a Prelude VTEC caliper on there too.. nice feel, much improved braking.
the BSQ suggestion above is really cheap if you take your time and source the parts out.. used calipers, new rotors can be found on sale/groupbuy at times.
dont spend the extra loot on slotted or drilled, its a useless thing nowadays unless you rally and have mud/water all over your rotors.
if you autox this will put you in a class that is ver very hard to be competitive without other mods... so, I guess just be aware...
check my homepage if you want to see my setup.
*NOTE, the 2000+ prelude VTEC calipers do not need to be shaved, they actually need a washer added to move them away from the knuckle... that is how mine fit.

Would you guys estimate this costing over $250 or under?
any idea where a good starting point is to look for these prts? im in NJ
are the ITR rear calipers/rotors also bigger than GSR?
so if I buy the 11" rotors from fastbrake and I use ITR or 2000 lude calipers I will not have to have the calipers machined?

If you buy the 2-piece 11" rotors from Fastbrakes and use the 2000 Prelude calipers you will not need to machine any material from the caliper bracket.
what's the advantage of bigger rotors with the same size calipers?
where can I find used rotors?
ITR rotors do not need to be machined either, right? I am trying to make sure because I do not know anyone that can do it.
Thanks

Leverage is the advantage of using a bigger rotor with the same calipers.
Don't use used rotors for anything except conversation pieces.
Now, my question:
WHAT ARE THE WASHER DIMENSIONS NEEDED FOR THE 2000+ PRELUDE CALIPER INSTALL????????????????????????

and here is the rear 11.4" kit

Brian - if you read this and want larger pics of these to use for your site or anything on your fastbrakes page...lemme know and i'll e-mail them to you and you can use them as much as you like
