Default H22a H22 Dyno Intake, Header, Exhaust, EuroR, Street Tuned 197.7whp Baseline

Fake J's Racing Intake w/ K&N Filter
EuroR Intake Manifold
Hondata IM Gasket
Balance Shaft Belt Removed
AN-R Header with 2.5" Street Collecter
Mandrel Bent KTeller Exhaust 2.5"
Magnaflow ES Oval Style Muffler 2.5"
Tuned via Uberdata or Crome

Dynojet

4th gear pulls

This was a baseline pull, no tuning. I have a basemap from a similarly setup h22a with i/h/e that I used for this run. It was a dyno day in South Florida. It was hot and packed and there was no time to make any corrections to anything. I have a lot to pick up mid range and I'm sure I could squeak out over 200whp up top. All in all, it's a great baseline run before I install the rocket motorsports h22 regrinds I have sitting around here. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1253111

EDIT: About STD vs. SAE, it was a packed dyno day and they were taking the time to change the output settings to SAE corrected. I will assure you of this though, it was a hot, muggy South Florida day and any corrections would've only made the numbers higher.

You wouldn't happen to have the SAE corrected numbers, would you?

Also just curious is this a USDM H22 or a JDM H22? But good results none the less.

They were being weird about that, I wanted SAE numbers so it is easier to compare (easier, not perfect). But they kept on saying it is too long/hard to change it. So, we will try to go back and get the corrected numbers.

So you can see it is a base map, it needs work.

Hey thanks for posting this **** up man. I've been wanting to see what that style header and 2.5" exhaust would do on a stock motor. Can't wait to see the cams dyno cause those are the same ones I'm thinking about getting.

No, sorry, it was a packed dyno day and the guy running the computer was an ***. It was 90 plus degrees all day and humid as **** so any SAE corrected numbers would have been in my favor.

Believe me, I'm as excited as you are. I've been searching for a single dyno w/ the rocket motorsports h22 regrinds on a clean motor for six months now. I guess I'll actually end up being the first one to have them.

did you guys put this in the hatch or is it still in the EK coupe?

B-Series tranny time although you can probably hit 12's already if seats removed, suspension mods and of course a good driver.

I think he hit 194whp SAE corrected and 179 STD @ the dyno kenny tuned him at. He's in a stripped dx as well so it would be a pretty good matchup.

Thing is, I would nearly **** my pants when driving Pat McGroin's car (nearly same setup as me, but in a 2165lb cx hatch), so I know that I'm going to be crapping myself after the swap and even more after the cam install.

Hey Darkknight,
Did you mod the Euro R Manifold yourself? What did you use for the IAC?

Yes. I used a thin piece of sheet aluminum and basically made an adaptor plate. It was very similar to 2point6's.

Yes, I would not mind seeing what you make with your cams either.

What does this mean? Are you somehow being negative or what? Or is this a inside joke?

I was the one that did the mod to the intake, swap, tuning, and most everything. Adam (darkknight) has been a great help and car is what it is today because of him wanting to go faster without spending money on useless mods.

Adam was joking about with that.

Nice edit

Yea, honestly, the car wouldn't be nearly what it is today without the help of Turbogixxer, his hardwork and dedication to my setup has been something of a miracle. If there was one thing I could wish on everyone in this hobby is that it would be to have a friend as knowledgeable and helpful as kenny.

Thanks man.
