Default Dying Fuel Injectors

Ok so my teg is old (its a '93). About a 2 months ago I replaced all 4 of my fuel injectors. My mechanic did 2 and I did the other 2. He replaced injectors 1 & 2 and said that 3-4 were going to die soon. So About a week later I buy 2 new fuel injectors, and sure enough my old injectors died. So I did them myself. After installation nothing was wrong. Today my number 3 injector just died. With no explanation.
However, a few days ago there was a really bad storm where I live and I think my intake sucked up some water ( I have cold air intake that comes down inside my wheel well.) I drove through a really deep puddle and my car sputtered a bit but a few moments later, it was running normal again. Now today my fuel injector dies.
If anyone could offer explanation as to why a brand new injector would just die, or perhaps water may have damaged it, please let me know. Thanks.
-Mike

Are you sure the injector is dead??? I sound like you where close to hydro locking the engine, and you could of done some internal damage

My 92 RS has 275K miles and injectors are fine. At least I think they are fine, car still pulls nicely, but I do hear alittle clicking at the injectors. How do you know they were bad? Did you run some kind of test on them?

yea my mechanic tested them in front of me. When I pull the spark plug out of the cyclinder, nothing would happen. Once I changed the injector, and pulled the plug again, the engine would begin to die. Thats how I know the injector was bad. Now my car is giving the same symptoms as before, so I all ready know what the problem is... just cant figure out why perfectly good injector would die again.
