MUGEN Chip or SPOON Chip?? which is better?
I know a shop that says they can burn me a copy of the Mugen ECU program or Spoon ECU for a good price, which is better, and what type of mods/setup do u need on your ride to benefit from each program?? Any of you ever used either of these ECU's either original or copied? What type of HP did you gain or can expect to gain? Thanks guys.
what are your plans for the longrun?....if you decide to go with some new cams other than oem honda, you wont be able to run the program..
A lot of the copies are not what they say it is. You might or might not be getting Mugen or Spoon. If you are stuck between the two ask the shop if they are willing to let you try out both and you buy the one that performs better.

Why do you not ask the shop how exactly much the ignition advance and fueling differs from stock. That would give you an idea if the shop knows what they are selling. Ask them if the chips disable any of the sensors (such as knock sensor, secondary runners, o2 sensors) or any error codes.
In addition to the above CR and fuel you will probably need individual throttle bodies, and Mugen cams if you go with a Mugen chip.

Thanks for the info guys, i'll ask the shop for some more info on what you guys told me so far. But Yes i am running OBD 1, and require a OBD1 program. I am also running approx 11.6:1 CR and i am using OEM type-r cams and i only get 94 octane gas here in Toronto, and i'm not gonna buy octane boost for every tank of gas. I doubt i will change to jun 3's or spec b's. I'm just looking for 180 or more WHP with at least 125 or more TQ and i also need a higher fuel cutoff for my R cams. (Running OBD1 GS-R ECU right now) That's why i was considering the chip as well. Will tuning my V-AFC on a Motec help a lot as well? If it is a copy of the Mugen or Spoon program, should i consider? Thanks again guys.

You will get far far better results with a Hondata stage 2 + tuning - and it will probably cost you about the same after you sell your VAFC.
Let say there is no Hondata dealer in my area, so I went out and buy the stage 2 from a dealer in other area and there is no people in my area that with the stage 4. Will I need to fine tune the stage 2 with a VAFC or whatever to get the most out of it, because the program I got in the stage 2 wouldn't be perfect for my set up.

I don't think i can get a Hondata program anywhere near here. I can get JUN parts, but what setup is needed with the JUN program to make good use of it? IS there a diff between the MUGEN/SPOON OBD 1 and OBD 2 programs? OR i can just drive over to Yoshio's shop which is like 15mins from my house.
Mugen doesn't offer cams to the general public. They are for race teams only.
