Default ITR Door Handle Search

On a previous thread I mentioned that my door locks and door handles had been damaged in an attempted break-in - twice in 6 months!

Someone suggested that I use rear door handles for the 4 door ITR - this sounds like a good way to go.

My question is, were there any Integra four doors sold in the US and how would I go about sourcing these handles. Otherwise would there be any way of sourcing these parts from Japan. Honda Aust can't source parts for cars not sold in this market.

The handles would need to be in Milano Red for a DC2. The cost for 2 locks and a handle in Aust is A$280, so I think the JDM prices would be cheaper (not needing a lock) and the thieves would be forced to break a window next time

there were 4 dr integras sold in the US, however not ITR's...I don't think this would pose a problem, as they should all be the same size...

Use the USDM 4 door integra rear outer handles..
Exactly the same, but you will need to paint them.

So they're not colour coded like for the ITR front ones? Are there any dealers or members on the board who I can source these from and who can send to Aust?

They are colour coded... but no red ITR's were sold in the US.

Mike works at a delership. https://honda-tech.com/zerouser?cmd=viewprofile&id=4622

Drop him a line and see what he can do.

If the price is out of reach... A quick trip to the salvage yard would net me a set of handles. Shipping would be a bit much... but your quote ($280 (US)) for a set of handles is a bit much.

Thanks. The handles don't need to be from an ITR. I guess the rear handles from any red 4 door Integra would do, either second hand or new. BTW the $280 was A$ (about US$140) and it was to replace the two damaged locks and one handle, though the other handle is also marked. From memory, my last handle was about A$200. Will drop Mike an email.

prn#21 - just post your color code (to be found on the driver side door pillar). Once you have that info, you can color match any 4-door 'teg handle to your specification.
