I recall seeing people buying accord lips, and the accord type R lip fitting on their prelude.

Just wondering what year accord type R lip I need to get for my 4th gen 92-96 prelude. And will any lip that fits the accord fit relatively easy on the prelude.

 

I've seen threads about 5th Gen Accord lips being modified to fit the 4th Gen Prelude.

 

94-95 accord. fits good but is a little long on each end, so you will have to cut about an inch off of each side once it is on.

 

the 94-95 accord lips fit on a number of preludes. they will fit 5th and 3rd gen with a bit of cutting. ive never heard tell of one being modded to a 4th gen.

I have many times, seen pictures and have links. The Accord Type-R style (ebay) looks nice, I think. There's also the factory accord lip. I plan on getting the Type-R just before I go in for some new paint

I agree. They just charge a lot for shipping.

anyone got a pic of the accord type R front lip on the 4th gen?

 

I didnt know there was a way to fit a accord front lip on a 4th gen but i myself have a 94 accord rear lip on my 92si looks great

yep it will. PM DarkBB4 and he'll give you the who's who of what's what. his name is evan. all it takes is a little trim trim and some clever hole relocation

 

in the link that contain the 3 preludes, whats the front lip on the other white prelude? and the think the blue one had the same lip as well. does anyone know what lip it is?

those lips are the jdm aero magic lip. heres a picture.

 

what mods if any would have to be done to fit a 5th gen? I'm guessing just some drilling since you say no cutting.
