Default B20VTEC build - version 2

Today I finally got my block back with new sleeves installed. We started right away but the local Honda dealer had messed up the order on main bearings so we were stuck with installing the pistons and clean up the block. It should be running in a week so I'm excited to see how this turns out.

The block had 3 cracked sleeves and even with a stock head etc. it made good power.

Some pics of the parts that will be used....

RLZ B16A2 head... stage3 job by Brad

IB Spec Wiseco 3.6 cc dome with Probe ultra light rods

SMSP B20VTEC header... nice work Dave

The sleeved B20B3 block...

Setup will be:

B20B3 block with JITA sleeves bored to 84.5 mm.
IB Spec Wiseco 3.6 cc dome pistons
Probe Ultra Light rods
RPM Service 72 mm. TB
IB Spec IM
3" short ram with velocity stack
RLZ Stage3 B16A2 head
IB Spec cams
IB Spec valvetrain
IB Spec exhaust valves
Omni intake valves
SMSP B20VTEC header
3" Carsound cat
3" Thermal cat back
Hondata S200

It's all going into my baby right here....

Great setup but those sleeves look like stock style. never heard of JITA? What kind of reinforcement does that have over stock?

They are nickel content sleeves and not like stock weak ones. Here is a pic... they should handle the job fine. Got them from Jeff at IB.

Thanks... I hope to win a drag event again where the fastest street cars in Denmark run against each other. I would still like to have the fastest FWD allmotor street car here...

220-230 whp perhaps? Dunno hard to say... compression will be around 12.3:1 and tuned for 93 octane.

No it's nothing like the Toda header. It's made for a 2L and custom made by Dave to fit my EE8 cross member.

Some more pics of it...

It has another firing order on it too... see how he paired 1&4, and 2&3.
