Default OEM spark plug wires or NGK blues?

I'm debating whether i should buy Import RP's ngk blues and rotor and cap or go to honda and get oem wires and rotor and cap. he is charging
$44 - NGK Wire Set
$9.50 - Distributor Cap
$8.50 - Distributor Rotor
$8.48 - UPS Ground shipping
TOTAL = $70.48 shipped

If i buy everything from honda it would probaly be what 10-20 more? has anyone bought his cap and rotor? i dont know if itll be any good. what should i do??

yeah stock replacements but how do you know they're even good as stock? its like the difference between a stock replacement bumper and an OEM bumper, of course the OEM one will fit perfectly but the replacement might not.

I bought the exact same thing from him. I have not installed it yet but he is a great seller and all the parts look to be good. By far the best prices you will find and he ships pretty quick. He is very easy to deal with. As far as how much more OEM would be. I have a feeling these parts are something that are very expensive and not worth buying OEM. Like a set of plug wires cap and rotor could be $400 from the dealer and it would not surprise me. You kow what i mean how like somethings are just very expensive and u never buy from honda. I could be wrong but i would say just go with import Rp. Also NGK Blues are amazing and im sure the cap and rotor are good too.

Just get whichever is cheaper. NGK is known for their quality and is the only other kind of manufacturer i would put in my honda.

I bought the same deal from Import RP, got my plug wires, wires for my bros 92 GSR, a cap and rotor for my car + shipping was only $110-120ish, which really isnt bad when you consider the 2 pairs of wires are 40-50 each.

You guys are forgetting that OEM wires are made by NGK.

Therefore, I would trust NGK Blue Wires....I've seen dyno tests proving they made a horsie or 2 over stock, but the main reason I got mine is because you really never have to replace them.

I would go with OEM, i was going to but i just went to NAPA and got a set of Belkin wires, they had a lifetime warranty and were 15 dollars cheaper than OEM, NGK is really good quality, so i would go with OEM if you have a few extra dollars.

My OEM ones say "Sumitomo" (sp?) on them so I don't think they are NGKs.

Go with NGK and don't worry, I have them on my car and they work very well and are of excellent quality. Also I don't think you should worry about stuff coming from NGK because most of their R&D are done on a track and they are very involved in racing. Also they make the wires for Honda and they supply the plugs for them. Also Honda makes good stuff but there is always room for improvement.

That's probably in comparison to the super thick aftermarket wires. I love how people think you can spend $150 on wires and make HP on a stock dizzy and ignition system. Funny as hell. anyways, I went NGK blue's because I've heard they last longer. as far as better spark, i don't think there is a diff from stock. Get whichever is cheapest.

ngk works good, but oem is best. Get the oem wires, cap, and rotor. i did a lot of dyno tuning and oem wires have worked out great. u can never go wrong with oem.

I agree with that.

The NGKs are fine, maybe better maybe not. Overall its not a huge investment so you can't really go wrong. The cap and rotor I would go OEM

ngk is recommended by the stickers all over your timing belt cover isnt it? well atleast the plugs are, not sure bout wires. but who cares, new wires will be better then old wires. people usually see gains in hp on dyno test because its comparing old stock wires to new bling bling wires. try test brand new oem wires to brand new blingers...pretty much no difference.
