Spark plugs in a newly bought B16a 1 gen ???? what is up ???
I just got my swap and I am checking general poo poo out. I pull the plugs, and number 4 plug has a good amount of carbon build up, the thing also has a green crystal like formations on the end of the tip. What does this mean, a blown head gasket ? I don't really want to tear this thing down without some more advise. Please let me hear your thoughts.

What do you mean by ripped ? did they have green crystals on them. I just want to hear from someone before I drop this thing in.
Come on, 45 people looked at this but don't know poo poo. I am freeking out man. Please help me. I know you guys are good.
I have no idea. I know that it did sit for a while. Is there any other way to test for this. will a compression check tell me if the head gasket is blown.
Can I do a compression check with the motor out of the car, can i just hook a battery up to the starter ??

no, cause if u do that the engine will whip around and prolly hurt u. what u can do is crank it over by hand by putting a wrench on the crank balancer/pully bolt and turn it.
I did just that, the head looks great, oil in it, it has a golden color.
I looked at the oil in the pan, it looks good on signs of water (coolant in it at all)
I just said fuc$ it and I am going to swap it soon. I need to change the clutch first.
