just a quickie-
89-91 style rear lcas...
anyone know if the rear lca shock mount bushings (the big ones in the middle) are the same size (all dimensions) as the front lca shock mount bushings? i'm ordering some fabbed delrin bush's and i don't have the car here to check and see if they are the same.

Yep, and inside that box I had another smaller box with these off my '91 Si (should be same for all 89-91):

From left to right: Rear LCA outboard/middle(shock)/inboard and Front LCA inboard/outboard(shock) bushings. Sorry, it's not going to work. Between them there are 4 different sized bushings, the only two that are the same, are the Rear LCA inside/outside ones.

interesting that the inboard front lca bushing is the only one serrated.
nice pic alan.
greg, if you still need the measurements of the ES bushings, i still have a set in box in my garage.

great pic alan! thanks.
i guess i'm going to have to figure something out to get these to work now though.
tyson-
if you have the es kit handy, measurements on the front and read shock bushings would help a lot. maybe if they are the same diameter they could be cut to work.
thanks a lot guys! you're saving me a week of waiting on things until i get back to the car.l

awesome, thanks tyson!
looks like i might be able to get the rears to work pretty easilly with some lathe work. i think i'll order two sets of the fronts and give it a shot. if they don't look like they'll work, i'll just keep em as spares.

If your getting the front ones ,and want to mod them to fit the rear, find someone with a mini lathe.

that's the plan, but there is nothing mini about the one i am using. or i'll go the drill and sandpaper route
i don't want to screw around too much with these, which is the reason i'm not just buying delrin stock and making my own. the price was right...

if youre making your own, chamfer the outside edge so that it doesnt bind. i plan on doing that with the ES bushings i have laying around, one of these days....

good info.
i'm not making these (just modifying the rears), but i'll make sure to take the corner down before they go on.
how are you going to do the es bushings? trim carefully with a knife?

basically.
the idea of putting it on a drill and sanding it just popped in my head right now tho...
i just need a little angle, 10 degrees and i think that will be more than enough to provide enough secondary rotation clearance.

that's my plan w/ the delrin if the clearance needed is small to get them in the rears, and prolly how i'll knock down the edges no matter what.
i was wondering if the poly might be funny w/ sandpaper though. maybe cleaner w/ a blade.
