Default Polishing Valve Cover

Is this what it's suppose to look like after I spray the Aircraft Remover on?

The stuff

I highest grit of sandpaper that I found in my garage had was 320

After some sanding and one small coat of polish only on one part of the valve cover...

Also if I put more polish on does it get shinnier?

Get you a buffer wheel and a dremel, it is gonna be a pain in the *** if ya don't have one. A drill with an adapter might work also.

Oh ite, the finest I had was 320 . What do you think about starting off with 400 and work my way up to about 1000. Maybe 2000 or somewhere in between. How much does it cost? Would just Home Depot or something have it?

well smoothen it out by the 320 grit then use around 800 grit or something to take out the small lines and what not then use 1500 or 2000 grit or pick.. it will be like a mirror

Sounds like a good idea

Noobish question, how do you wetsand, or what is it for that matter?

Wetsanding is where you get the sand paper wet. Just get a bucket of room-temp water (so you dont freeze your hand) and soak the sand paper in there so it get nice and wet, sand with it wet and keep the sand paper wet (keep dipping it in the water). hope this helps, good luck with the project. Oh, and sand paper is cheap, you can get it just about anywhere, yes, Home Depot should have sand paper.
