Another Thievery attempt...
My Girlfriend has a '95 GSR that was missing this morning... Turns out it was oly about 200 ft away, in the middle of my apartment complex parking lot...
that's right, some ******** decided it was time to steal a car and they tried to take hers. They failed however due to the secondary key I installed. I put up a post a little while ago on a security thread about making an ignition and fuel circuit kill/key out of a d-sub 9 pin connector... This complete theft was thwarted by the simple circuit kill.
It seems like they tried to push start it for whatever reason since there are now huge scratches on the back bumper. I'm not sure why they did this since the secondary key only disrupts fuel and spark. the starter still turns... oh well... here's some pics of the violation...

yeah, they could have totally flatbedded it, but then again, it isn't necessarily inconspicuos to roll up in the parking lot and then flatbed some person's car... The only thing I think they really could have gotten away with would maybe be using a tow strap. that would be quiet enough and people tow each other all the time...
The 9 pin kill switch has to be jumpered in a specific order, otherwise it won't work... You could trace the wires to the ECU, but I figured someone may try that, so I broke multiple circuits in multiple locations in order to cause a thief to take too much time and eventually give up...

I made a really quick write up of the secondary key in case anyone is interested:
https://honda-tech.com/zero...99393
Its a little cryptic, but it explains how to make the key.
I may update with a diagram or some crap later

May I suggest an improvement?
Use a few dud wire left over from the 9 pin to connect in parallel to a spare horn so if they by probability (1 common power to 1 possible startup and 7 possible alarm) try to use a jumper wire they will turn on the spare horn, scare the **** out of them and wake up the whole town.
There is no replacement for probability that punish the failure/rejects, darwin at its best.

sorry to here that, my g-friends had her wheels stolen then about 2 mths later tried to take it but i had an alarm put in that picks up mircowaves, they broke the quarter panel winow and set off the alarm. i also put in a secondary kill switch, so they woulkdnt have gone anywhere.
