hey i cracked my fiberglass spoon lip the other day and i tried repairing it myself.. didnt work. anyways what are my options for a 4thgen prelude lip. i dont want anything expensive or w/e jus a nice lip . the spoon lip cost me $300 im def. not doing that again.

HIRO front lip.

 

naa. its a bit too big it looks like more of something from a body kit. im looking for jus a lip that looks like an entire from bumper. but thanks anyways.

 

94-95 accord Type-R style front lip looks good on preludes
have to remove half inch from each side but still..wicked..
For $50 you cant beat it! Check ebay.

 

Nice dude. I've got one of those on my fourth gen SE...I thought I was the only one! But I guess not. Looks sick...is that the color it's going to stay or what? Seems like an interesting color choice/combination.

 

this is how mine looked i cracked it in the center and since its fiberglass its so noticable and ugly so i tried fixing it and didnt work out. im jus gonna maybe look for a replica spoon lip or something. the accord type r one is nice but too small n plain for my liking.

 

i also am rawking the Accord Type R lip!

it shouldnt be too hard to fiberglass it since it is made out of glass. sand it down a bit, then glass the back and front with cloth, sand, sand, glass again, sand, then paint.

 

hey man thanks for the pic. u did a good job. unfortunatly my crack was a little more hardcore. the fiberglass was sticking out n everything. its ok.. i tried at least. lol. i need a lippp anyone know of anyone or a company that makes replica spoon lips. i would put the type r lip on it but..

 

take it to a place that can take a mould of it.. then get them to make a new one... ?????

 

ya ur deffently going to ahve to glass it... the layer of bondo will last about 5 min when driving down the road

 

To 92hondalude, haha, that's the black widow bumper huh? I had to do the exact same thing on my black widow front bumper, cept it was on the other side!! And yah, that's the exact same process I had to do for mine! Nice work.

 

its ok guys thanks for all the help but i scrapped the spoon lip. its just too much of a bitch to fix. it wont hold. maybe my skills jus arent great. lol im thinking a replica or the type r one from the accord.i need something. anyone got more pics of the lude with type r front lip. ?

I would fix your lip if i had the time. I have been taking the clear coat off my rims and i just painted my grills black. dont throw out the one that is broken. Keep it to practice fiberglassing or i might buy it from you or somthing.
