BOTI - STREET-CAR SHOOTOUT AT ROUTE 66 - JUNE 4, 2005
The BOTI is pleased to announce the inaugural Street-Car Shootout at the famous Route 66 Raceway this June 4, 2005.
This event will feature four heads-up classes for cash, contingency and trophies for imports and sport-compacts: Street-Tuner, Street-Comp, Street-Performance and Street-Stock. Also new at this event is a class for street bikes. For those wishing to just test, we are offering the unlimited fun-run challenge where the person who makes the most amount passes will receive an award.
Also on the card is the Import Racer! magazine carshow with newly added classes for imports, sport compacts, trucks, SUV's and now late model domestics. Stereo competitors will be able to compete in either the USACi SQ or Db Drags SPL. New to this event is finestmodels.com's gassoline alley where import models Nikita Esco and Joyce Lex will be featured.

I'll be there too if I can find a temporary trans to use. I'm still finishing up my winter build so I'm going to take the old engine there with the new turbo setup and see if it has to come home on a trailer

I'll be there, but same as you Dave. We should have 4 or 5 cars from Central IL going. Two are 400+ whp turbo cars.

we have tried the drag radial class but it seems there are more people that prefer to run on slicks to get the absolute best e.t. from their car. this was awhile ago but i am sure since full body cars are in the 9's, racers are going to want to better these e.t.'s and realize they can't do it on radials.

Hopefully the Full-Race Stage 3GT kit I ordered for a customer will be in, on the car, and tuned before this.

we are working on getting a subie versus mitsubishi thing going. we hear through the grapevine there are some fast street cars out there! can someone verify this? we hear there's a high-9 to low 10-second evo running around out there!
wish i could go,my friend mike and i would love to hitch a ride with someone to run the street all-motor class
