i am looking for a list of the oem paint colors. i have been searching but havent found anything for sure. i am hoping someone has a list or something.

i went to that site and looked around. i saw a code i think might be mine i will have to check later though. i think mine is r-66 but the color they had didnt look anything like my color.

 

well, i know the black crx si's were "metallic flint black" and there were two or three different color reds available on crx's

 

i have an 89 sedan and i think the code is r-66-m which by the name i found would make it cardinal red but they color they had didnt look anything like my cars color.

Well, that's not so strange. The color that shows up on your screen will be affected by the r/g/b settings on your screen. And as you might have noticed, the real color on the car will also vary depending on lighting. But you compare different online colors with the same real colors, I guess the difference between them would be similar (online r-66 vs online r-62 and real r-66 vs real r-62).

 

i have a 91 dx and it was bordeaux (sp) red which looks maroon

 

well i figured out that the code is in fact r-66m-3 which would make it cardinal red. i was thrown off by the online color because the color i was looking at was a light red while mine is a dark red. i suppose its just an error though.

So I kept trying to explain to people the weird color of my hatch, and it's Tahitian Green Pearl.. Thats a common one isnt it?
