Hey guys, I'm bored and I figure I'd see your input on whether you would put an EF9 bumper on an EF. The car is a DX teal colored hatch and if I did get the bumper, I'd probably sand it down and paint it satin black (kinda like the STD bumpers). Here's the catch, it would be on a full USDM front end... Here are some pictures I've gathered of what that looks like and to me it seems like it's worth it. Though I'm 85% sure I want to know what you guys think.

not sure about rocking the ef9 bumper, but those ls mesh rims look sweet.

 

haha the red one is my car, but i got tired of the gap cause i just had the bumper, so i now have usdm bumper

 

i like it plus MOST peaople would believe it was a jdm front end conversion

 

If you got it rock it but IMO the whole conversion looks better.

heres a pic of mine, now i have the jdm clear corners and normal clear bumper signals with orange inserts. I have to keep my stock usdm headlights and hood cause i have hids. but it looks pretty good i think..

 

I like the SiR frontend on the Civics and CR-X's.

 

Could someone specify the proverbial 'gap' for me? Is it a space between the USDM filler piece and the JDM bumper? I'm not seeing any glaring problems.

holy crap.. that fits nice. did you have to do anything special to keep the gap smaller? ... the amber looks hot

 

yeah i dont see this gap most talk about. payneth, if there was one how did you get rid of it? and is this a bolt on afair?? what i really like is the wrap around lights.

 

used a good ol heat gun to warp the sides into place, Isn't a perfect fit, but it works for me.

why not? its way better than any body kit, lighter than the us, and its JDMyO....really though its rounder, less weight, looks better, and is different.

I don't think the EF9 bumper looks good on usdm fronts. IF you look closely from the front, the wrap around lights look too big in contrast to the headlight IMO.

 

i just got the front bumper of my hatch fixed ... JHPUSA told MOB Works that the bumper doesnt fit a USDM front end fucktards i knew i should have gotten it anyway... i wasnt sure if it fit or not

they are just trying to cover their own *** and avoid unessesary returns. they dont know everything.... besides if they wanted the front on a hatch most people buy the whole thing, know what i mean?
