Who here has a hella fast SOHC turbo? Post up times!!!
Ok, I know we have some fast SOHC people here. Please post up your times along with your boost level and other key aspects of your setup. Thanks!
the fastest i ever seen a sohc run was sev leone out of pa he was the fastest i thought back in the day. i think he ran like 10.80 in full race trim.
my friends sohc turbo civic hb ran a 12.7@106MPH on a bone stock motor no Bullpoo poo!........bone stock motor with 10lbs. of boost.........daily driven
Wow, that is a hella fast time for a daily driver! Stock bottom end and just 10Psi? He must have used slicks right?
I should be in the 8's ... in the 8th mile
I think Kennedale is closed though so I have no idea what mine runs.

Hmm......about average. The traction thing is key of course. What kind of tires were they exactly? All seasons or performance tires?
Stock Firestone FR680's!! No wonder! Those are about the worst tires Honda could have put on the Civic!!! Check out this link! http://www.tirerack.com/tires/firestone/fs_fr680.jsp

I like to think thats what it is!
My bro gets 2.1 60fts., I usually do 2.2's, pulled a 2.1 once. I'm hoping to up the boost, lighten the car, and run some DR's or slicks. I'm on a mission to hit 12's with the greddy kit. We'll see if it's possible.

hey Mat and VTC
how r ur stock internals holding up?
i hope u r right with all the advice that is being given out between the 2 of u.
i am following ur setup, MatT3T4, the stage 1 turbo setup to a T. I might add a clutcha and monster tach w/ shift light and injectors. But i hope the psi recommendation is right also on that setup: what was it again 10psi street/14psi track?????

I don't know, the monster tach might pupoo poo over the edge. I've known guys that have blown their engines because their tach was too big.
what does the size of the tach have to do with blowing the engine. I want the tach so that i can shift at the right time....right now i am shifting to high i believe..not redlining but close. I know that i could shift sooner and not create so much unwanted heat from shifting high. Therefore = Autometer Monster Tach w/ shift light.
