gotta ask:
Did you route them correctly?
What cables are you using?

I used the cables that came with the set up and I routed them the same way my old ones came out. Do you think I should unbolt the braket closest to the ebrake handle to give it a little more leway?

94-01 Teg cables will work. Yes, loosen the ebrake bracket that holds the ends of the cables in place. Get it back as far as possible.

I dont know the exact year but I do know it was a 94-01 teg. Ill mess with the cables a little more tomorrow.
One more question for you guys... I was told by a few people that since my car doesnt have ABS I didnt need to change the proportioning valve. My brakes seem to be working just fine... but will I have trouble later if I dont change it???

Are you sure you didnt get Del Sol brakes? The cables are shorter.

Then they should fit if they're from a 94-01 Teg.

using your oem PP valve should be fine for now, but i suggest you get that (4040) and the MC/BB from an non abs integra in the future so you can use those brakes to the fullest extent.

Well I tried the easiest place first and Autozone doesnt have proportioning valves... do you know where I should look? Wrecking yards are my next guess.

i don't think you really need the proportioning valve...

but def get the bigger master cylinder.
if you get the 15/16" MC from a civic ex/si you don't have to swap brake booster.

else go for the integra 1" MC and brake booster.
have fun swapping the booster! (it's a huge PITA!)

Ok, this is what you are GOING to do:

Pm cxSHOE and he'll get you 4040 prop valve. He did for me, and he's an awesome guy. OR you can get one at http://www.importautosalvage.com for around $50 shipped after talking them down. I still did not want to pay that much so I went with cxshoe.

You are going to get a 1inch MC from a 98-01 Integra. When you go to buy one, don't let people jack the price on you saying that there's is a 1inch type R MC. Every MC after 98 was a 1inch. They're all the same. And get the 98-01 Brake Booster. **** 15/16th.

Now, before you go to install the MC, you'll notice that one of the fitting slots is on the other side of the MC compared to your stock MC. No biggie, just slowly bend the hard brake line over to the other side and line it up. The bigger problem is that that slot for the hard brake line is 12mm and your stock brake line fitting is 10mm. It's too small. You'll need to go to the junkyard and find a 12mm hard line fitting. I found mine off a late model Acura Legend. Then you'll need to dremel your stock fitting off, put the new one on, and double flare the line closed. Use this link to learn how to double flare. The flare kit should cost you around $10 at Advance Auto Parts. http://www.joesfalcon.com/gentip2/gentip2.html (courtesty of cxshoe)

Make sure the bolt pattern on your Brake Booster lines up with your MC. Your BB is an absolute BITCH to install like pgpunkguy said. I NEVER want to do another one again. O it sucks, hahaha. You're screwed lol. It's just 4 scews though. FROM HELL!!!

Good luck

O ya, for my advice to be truly effective, you need Integra front brakes.

you should try to unhook the cables from the brakes, then install them into the bracket for the e-brake handle....or just buy 95 civic cables w/ rear discs...

The cables may need to be zip tied on a new route instead of using the stock route.

Also, expect your front brakes to lock up before the rear until you change the prop valve (better than rears locking up before fronts, but still something to fix when you can)

Use the cables for a 94 civic ex w/abs and they bolt up perfectly. I had the same problem and I bought the civic cables because the integra ones would not bolt up properly.

95 civic w/ abs...but one of my friends made it work w/ the integra cables, by disconnecting the cables from caliper then mounting them onto the braket inside the car then putting it back on the caliper(this takes some muscle, you may need two people for this part) then add the brake lines last it will make the cable installation easier...

I found another way to do it... unbolt the 2 brackets underneath the car closest to the middle of the car. It gave it the perfect amount of slack.

What? If you're asking what I think you're asking, don't live by the "she's a woman, I'm a man, therefore I must e-f'k her because she has a unique soul working on Hondas".
